This is a contract position that requires on-site work, offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Locum Rheumatologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our healthcare staffing solutions, enabling us to meet the needs of our clients and patients effectively.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with rheumatologic conditions
Perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in rheumatology
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff as needed
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
Valid medical license to practice in the state of Ohio
1-3 years of experience in Rheumatology preferred
Strong clinical skills and patient-centered approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8a-5p, every other week
No call coverage required
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Census: 15 patients
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & lodging
