Join Ericsson as a Sr Consulting Sales Engineer to grow our Enterprise 5G business. You will play a pivotal role in driving solution sales for our Enterprise 5G portfolio, primarily within the U.S. territory. You will partner closely with Enterprise Sales Managers, Partner Account Managers, Global System Integrators, and industry vertical experts to support strategic account opportunities and develop new markets.

What you will do Serve as a subject matter expert in Ericsson’s Enterprise 5G solutions, focusing on Private Cellular Networks and Neutral Host coverage extension solutions. Collaborate with sales and partner teams to identify customer challenges and craft tailored solutions that bring high customer impact. Lead cross‑functional technical pre‑sales engagements and create key artifacts, including solution design, proposal development, RFX responses, quotes and statements of work. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to technical and executive audiences. Author white papers, blogs, and thought leadership content to support market development. Work cross‑functionally to enhance Ericsson’s market position and customer value. Rapidly ramp up on Ericsson’s portfolio and become a trusted advisor.

Experience Proven experience in pre‑sales for Private Cellular Networks (PCN). Proven experience working with enterprises, especially in industry verticals such as mining, manufacturing, energy, ports/airports/transportation/logistics. Experience with indoor cellular networks such as Neutral Host / cellular coverage extension and/or DAS is a plus. Background in defining, delivering, and selling cellular network solutions to enterprises. Experience working with business and sales strategy in a technical sales environment. Proven experience leading virtual technical teams.
Key Competencies Deep understanding of cellular network architecture and technologies. Deep and broad technical competence in private networks, RAN, Core, transport, and IT networks. Indoor coverage extension / neutral host is a plus. Expertise in Ericsson RAN portfolio, cellular frequency bands across North America, including CBRS. Strong consultative selling and customer engagement skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, from technical to C‑level audiences. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. Skilled in proposal development, proposal solution strategy, and detailed solution documentation. Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and accountability management, with a focus on team success.
Nice to Have Experience with DAS solutions and deployment lifecycle. Experience authoring technical content such as white papers and blogs. Familiarity with Ericsson’s broader portfolio and ecosystem. Exposure to working with global teams and diverse customer segments.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or a related field. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience working across cellular networks, private networks, enterprise sales, solutioning, deployment, or operations.

Compensation and Benefits at Ericsson Variable compensation: This role includes the opportunity for sales commissions as part of the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Variable Compensation Plan. Actual payouts depend on performance against sales targets and individual incentive targets.
