Salesforce Agentforce Developer
– Multiyear Contract – Hybrid (One day a week in MD/DC/VA client offices) – W2 Hourly Pay Rate: $50/hr.
ALTA IT Services has a 12‑month+ contract opening to support a respected health‑insurance customer. Candidates must reside in the local DMV area.
Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and debug Salesforce applications for claims‑data processing systems in the healthcare domain. Provide technical oversight and support to IT project teams to deliver high‑quality products that meet business needs.
Essential Functions
50% Salesforce Application Development
Develop efficient and effective productions to deliver business needs.
Serve as a Salesforce application developer for new development and enhancement of existing applications.
Communicate with developers, testers, and business analysts to deliver products without gaps and with best performance.
Write, review, deploy, and maintain code. Support day‑to‑day request and debugging issues.
Publish technical documents and share knowledge with the team.
20% Design of System / Analysis Requirement Implementation (New / Existing Systems)
Understand requirements and current systems to develop the system properly based on requirements.
Study new features and services from Salesforce and each Salesforce release to improve performance of processes and services.
20% Testing / Technical Support
Develop unit‑testing code and support automation testing implementation.
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of issues, analyze problems, and provide the best resolution to teams.
Support day‑to‑day request and development in different environments.
10% Collaborate to Drive Business Value
Work closely with other development team members, the project manager, and product managers to ensure applications are developed properly with requirements and needs.
Deliver products on time with high‑quality outcomes.
Qualifications
Salesforce application development, Agentforce 360.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related IT field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience in building, deploying, and supporting Salesforce applications and platform solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce application development.
Web programming skills – HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Custom solutions on the Salesforce platform – Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Flow, Visualforce, SOQL.
REST APIs for external systems integrations.
Object‑oriented programming design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices.
Reporting and dashboards in Salesforce.
JIRA or Agile platform for collaborating with multiple teams and source control systems like Git/SVN.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders.
Multi‑cloud architectures and AWS cloud development – a plus.
Call center setup within Salesforce – a plus.
CI/CD pipelines like Copado – knowledge is a plus.
Understanding & knowledge of AI – a plus.
Agentforce 360 experience & knowledge – a plus.
AI tool like Agentforce DX – a plus.
Data 360 experience or knowledge – a plus.
Integration with other SaaS systems – a plus.
