The Family Office is seeking a highly analytical, finance-driven Business Analyst / Investment Associate to support the Principal and Investment Team across research, diligence, portfolio monitoring, and financial modeling. This role mirrors a junior investment banking / private equity analyst environmentfast-paced, data-oriented, and requiring exceptional attention to detailwhile offering broader exposure across multiple asset classes.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, proactive, and comfortable working in a small, high-trust environment with direct access to senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct quantitative and qualitative research across public markets, private equity, venture, real estate, and alternatives. Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, operating models, sensitivity analyses). Develop investment memos, dashboards, and evaluation frameworks for prospective opportunities. Track and report portfolio performance, analyze variances, and identify optimization opportunities. Aggregate and interpret operational and financial data, translating it into actionable insights. Support end-to-end diligence for direct investments, co-investments, and fund commitments. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field. 13+ years in investment banking, private equity, consulting, asset management, or a data/analytics-heavy role. Strong Excel skills with financial modeling and valuation experience. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills. High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism suitable for a Family Office. Preferred: Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.). Exposure to alternative assets or family office operations. Familiarity with corporate structures, tax, or wealth planning a plus. Soft Skills & Traits: Highly analytical with intellectual curiosity. Solutions-oriented with a bias toward action. Comfortable coordinating with senior stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
