Sales Consulting Professional

Location(s):

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing contracts within multi-family communities and multi-tenant properties to enable to expand the reach and revenue penetration of wired and wireless home/business services.

Key Responsibilities:

Secure Premise Access Licenses (agreement to allow access to evaluate and place equipment)

Secure Marketing Agreements (agreements to co-market services)

Provide preferential/exclusive positioning for marketing services to residential and SMB end users

Target prospect customer base including owners, developers, and builders of multi-family and multi-tenant housing and rental communities

Drive top-line revenue growth measured by prospect access growth, property penetration, revenue per customer per month, and service churn

Coordinate with local Account Management and Network teams to secure License Agreements

Evaluate, design, and place network equipment to make service available for residents

Initiate face-to-face contact with owners, builders, and developers to secure placement and/or marketing rights for services

Develop new business through telephone and mass communication (e.g., email)

Identify appropriate decision makers within target markets

Support both local in-market and out-of-market regional business development needs

Conduct needs analysis and determine prospect pain points

Present wired/wireless solutions aligned with prospect needs

Identify key buying influencers and understand budget/timeline

Build and cultivate prospect relationships with ongoing communication

Manage data for new and prospective clients in sales database

Ensure all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached

Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards

Manage sales funnel to consistently achieve unit targets

Establish and leverage customer relationships to position as the provider of choice

Negotiate long-term deals for cooperative marketing and exclusive or bulk sale contracts

Understand competitive environment and technical advantages

Present capabilities in a consultative manner

Interface with local Network Engineering to promote Enhanced Communities Home program

Leverage network insights for new construction engineering opportunities

Position Details:

Mobile contract worker role with a defined sales territory

Includes both fieldwork at prospect/client locations and administrative work from home

Candidate Profile:

Passionate about sales, service, and building lasting relationships

Interested in multifamily market, developers, and owners

Uses business acumen to establish credibility and deliver solutions

Energized by the prospect of landing major accounts

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

Four or more years of relevant B2B sales experience

Knowledge of fiber and wireless-based telecommunications

Reliable personal transportation with a valid driver's license

Willingness to travel up to 75% in the local market

Database user proficiency

Familiarity with Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to manage funnel in a sales objective-based environment

Strong consulting skills, including prospecting, sales planning, and value-based selling

Demonstrated influence skills with internal and external stakeholders

Knowledge of the multi-family environment
