Role Overview The Senior Accountant will partner closely with Accounting leadership (Controller, FP&A Director, CFO) to strengthen daily accounting operations, enhance process efficiencies, and support key financial reporting functions. This role is ideal for a motivated, career‑driven professional seeking growth and increasing responsibility.
You’ll lead core accounting tasks including maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, managing month‑end close, conducting reconciliations, and overseeing partner‑related accounting schedules. You will also mentor a Staff Accountant and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); MBA or CPA highly preferred
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience
Experience in professional services accounting is preferred
Strong month‑end close experience (short close cycle preferred)
Proficiency with corporate accounting: reconciliations, journal entries, GL work
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc.)
Solid work history (limited gaps; stable tenure)
