We are looking for a
Tax Director
to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Base Pay $175,000.00 – $210,000.00 per year.
Additional Compensation
Annual Bonus
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the organization.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
Provide guidance on tax implications for business transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
Lead and mentor the tax team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising leadership on potential impacts.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, including leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
CPA or JD designation required; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
Proven experience in tax planning for complex organizations.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems and tax software (e.g., OneSource, SAP) is a plus.
