As an eCommerce Data Analyst, you will provide advanced analytical expertise and guide the organization in applying modern eCommerce analytics practices. In this role, you will drive the adoption of advanced web analytics across the digital landscape and take ownership of delivering data and analytics solutions that support strategic business goals. You will work closely with Product Owners and key stakeholders to understand business needs, define the right analytical approach, and oversee the configuration and development of tracking and data solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
A key part of the position is acting as a central point of contact for business stakeholders — helping them translate complex data (behavioral, transactional, customer) into clear, complete and actionable insights. Your work will directly support both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day decision‑making in the eCommerce area.
Your tasks
Coordinate Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager setup for eCommerce platforms
Create measurement plans, implement events in GTM and maintain documentation
Collaborate with marketing, development and data teams to ensure tracking aligns with business goals
Test and validate data layer implementation and troubleshoot technical tracking issues
Manage GA and GTM accounts and provide user support
Lead the full analytics cycle: gather business requirements, analyze data, build reports and present recommendations
Analyze web, transactional and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and business insights
Provide analytical support for ongoing projects and contribute to A/B testing processes
Support the development of eCommerce data models and stay up to date with industry trends
Contribute to team development and deliver training on web data and reporting
Ensure compliance with data governance standards and IT quality policies
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (including GA4), Google Tag Manager and A/B testing tools
At least 7 years of experience in eCommerce data analysis or a similar role
Degree in Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or related field
Understanding of eCommerce platform architecture, product data flows and user behavior tracking
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Solid experience with SQL, BigQuery and advanced Excel
Hands‑on experience building dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) and working with tools such as Hotjar or Clarity
Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams; familiarity with Scrum methodology
Strong business acumen, independence and good organizational skills
Fluent English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication across international teams
