Resort General Manager

to lead overall operations, culture, and performance. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on hospitality leader who thrives in a destination setting and values authentic guest experiences, strong teams, and long‑term stewardship.

Base pay range $225,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr

Additional compensation types Annual Bonus

Location New England (Boston Metro Area)

The Role The Resort General Manager will have full responsibility for the leadership and performance of a historic, full‑service resort offering lodging, food & beverage, events, and seasonal recreation. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and daily operational engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership across all resort operations, including lodging, F&B, events, recreation, facilities, and guest services

Champion exceptional guest experience while preserving the character and traditions of the resort

Recruit, lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing management team

Oversee all financial aspects including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability

Partner with corporate leadership and ownership on long‑term strategy, capital planning, and brand positioning

Ensure compliance with all safety, employment, and regulatory standards

Serve as a visible and professional ambassador for the resort within the community

Candidate Profile

5+ years of senior leadership experience

in a resort or full‑service hotel environment

Demonstrated success managing

seasonal or four‑season destination resorts

Strong financial and operational acumen with full P&L responsibility

Leadership style that is approachable, accountable, and guest‑focused

Willingness to relocate to a mountain resort community
