Duties
Serve as Requisitioner, Expense Preparer, Departmental Administrator, Department Financial Manager for Sponsored Projects, and Financial Reporter in GMS.
Manage the quarterly budget reconciliation (BAR) process for all funds.
Provide budget forecasting and reports.
Execute all financial transactions, including ordering supplies, preparing documentation for GMS contracts and reimbursements, and managing/procuring equipment.
Serve as Timekeeper in GMS and ensure timely payroll administration for employees.
Work with the SFS HR team to ensure CSS recruiting, hiring, training, termination, and payment practices comply with HR policies and procedures.
Responsible for hiring and termination of all Front Desk student employees.
Oversee all work done for the SSP Front Desk, including incoming emails, phone calls, mail, Admissions Informational Interviews, YouCanBookMe Calendars, and visitors.
Supervise student employees.
Prepare supporting documentation for all NextSource employees employed by CSS, including adjuncts and temporary workers.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, higher education administration.
2-3 years of related program administration and budget management experience, preferably in higher education.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Must develop proficiency in the Workday Financials system.
Work Interactions The Assistant Director of Operations and Administration reports to the Associate Director of CSS.

Pay Range The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is: $44,022.00 - $73,406.80. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
