North America Health Solutions Chief Medical Officer
Join Aon’s North America Health Solutions team as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). In this hybrid role you will work virtually and from any Aon U.S. office, driving clinical strategy and solution development for employers and their workforce.
Responsibilities
Lead thought‑leadership initiatives with clinical experts and internal marketing teams, elevating Aon’s voice through speaking engagements and media.
Develop and deliver consulting solutions and partnership opportunities that align with organizational growth objectives; collaborate with IIS and Innovation resources to bring solutions to completion.
Lead clinical health strategy and support delivery of consulting assignments, coaching teams and presenting to clients to improve patient quality of life and generate strong clinical and financial outcomes.
Provide data‑driven insights and actionable observations using client health data to address key cost and performance drivers.
Participate in business development with existing clients and prospects, translating clinical expertise into a compelling value proposition.
Share knowledge internally through articles, trend observations, and internal webcasts; shape internal point of view with external knowledge sharing.
Mentor and develop other clinical colleagues, fostering a culture of feedback and professional growth.
Contribute to Aon’s Global Health Business, sharing points of view and benchmark ideas across multiple countries.
Model a “one‑firm” approach across all engagements.
Qualifications
15+ years of industry experience with management experience and a track record in leading clinical strategy and solution development.
Experience engaging employers at an executive level and building trusted advisor relationships.
Ability to manage projects to completion, prioritize tasks, and deliver on deadlines with strong performance and budget focus.
Proven success in collaborating across functions, including subject‑matter experts, analytics teams, and intellectual influencers.
Experience translating health care data into insights and actionable strategies for employers.
Broad business perspective with deep health‑care domain expertise.
Ability to travel 25‑50% of the time.
Education & Certification
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
Current Board Certification in the medical area of focus.
