We are looking for an organized and diligent Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records by recording the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Assist in the organization and layout of warehouse stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or excesses.
- Prepare inventory reports as required.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately logged in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support logistics and operational teams by providing accurate inventory data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software or WMS.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
