Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory to verify system records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system data.
- Enter inventory data accurately into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or excesses to management.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate stock placement.
- Track the movement of inventory within the warehouse, including transfers and adjustments.
- Generate inventory reports as required by management.
- Participate in cycle counting programs to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain organized and efficient storage areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Effective communication skills.
