Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order tickets.
- Use hand-held scanners or pick lists to guide the picking process.
- Ensure picked items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping aisles clear and products properly stored.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged items to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, supporting overall logistics functions.
- Participate in team efforts to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
