Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner prompts.
- Verify the item, quantity, and condition of picked products before proceeding.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging areas efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all established safety procedures and regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or safety hazards to supervision immediately.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals and support overall logistics objectives.
- Understand and execute warehouse policies and procedures related to picking and logistics.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
