Warehouse Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to join our cutting-edge logistics facility in San Jose, California. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse infrastructure and equipment. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of warehouse machinery and systems. Your technical skills will directly support the seamless flow of goods within our complex logistics network. • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on forklifts, automated sorting systems, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across various machinery.
• Conducting safety inspections and ensuring all equipment meets regulatory standards.
• Maintaining detailed logs of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new warehouse technology and equipment.
• Providing technical support and guidance to warehouse operational staff.
• Ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
• Managing spare parts inventory and ordering necessary components.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

This position requires strong technical and mechanical skills, a solid understanding of industrial equipment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. While direct product lifting is minimal, occasional moderate lifting may be necessary. Experience with warehouse automation and a commitment to safety are crucial.
