Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are looking for an efficient Order Picker to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. You will use order lists or RF scanners to locate and retrieve items, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected. This position is fundamental to our logistics and fulfillment process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work at a steady pace, and committed to maintaining accuracy. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment and collaborate with a dedicated team. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
• Verify product information and quantities before packing.
• Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
• Repack or consolidate items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of picking areas.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks when required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and labels.
• Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
• Capacity for physical activity, including walking, standing, and Lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to Safety and correct use of PPE.
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
