Job Summary:
Our Raleigh, North Carolina facility is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. This role is critical for ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory, including receiving, cycle counting, auditing, and reconciling stock. Implementing and improving inventory control procedures will be a key focus. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory management systems. Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) is highly desirable. We are committed to fostering a safe working environment, and all team members must strictly adhere to safety protocols. This includes the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is less physically demanding than some others, knowledge of safe lifting principles is still beneficial. Your expertise will directly contribute to reducing shrinkage, improving order fulfillment accuracy, and optimizing stock levels. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock flow.
  • Maintain a secure and organized inventory storage area.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
  • Provide reports on inventory status and performance metrics.
