Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of our warehouse inventory. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of inventory management systems and best practices. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our stock levels are optimized to meet operational needs. This position is critical to the efficiency of our supply chain and requires a dedicated individual who can contribute to our overall success in **Logistics**.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving items, and report on inventory status.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory to prevent damage or spoilage.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to reconcile inventory.
  • Train and guide other warehouse staff on inventory management best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all **Safety** regulations and the proper use of **PPE**.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with **Lifting** and moving inventory is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with **Logistics** operations.
  • Understanding of **Safety** procedures and **PPE** usage is mandatory.
