Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking an efficient and motivated Order Picker to join our expanding logistics operations in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanners. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for meeting shipping deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to navigate a large warehouse environment, and a strong focus on Safety. We provide all necessary PPE and training to ensure a secure workplace. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
• Use RF scanners or pick lists to locate and verify items.
• Ensure picked items are correct and undamaged before packaging.
• Transport picked items to the packing station or designated shipping area.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all Safety regulations and company procedures.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues immediately.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform frequent Lifting and carrying of items up to 30 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus.
• Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
