Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory using order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order requirements, checking product codes and quantities.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock put-away as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Report any damaged inventory or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
