Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret pick orders accurately.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions against pick lists.
- Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by promptly updating pick status.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE as mandated by company policy.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices and warehouse safety protocols.
- Willingness to consistently use required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
