Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure product integrity.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software.
- Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to optimize workflow.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control best practices within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
