Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements using order lists or scanning equipment.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier and company standards.
- Stage packed orders for outgoing shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals and uphold the company's commitment to operational excellence in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting items up to 30-40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency for using scanning devices and order management systems.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the necessity of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving within logistics operations.
