Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Order Picker for our busy logistics facility in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and efficiency are paramount to our operations. This position is key to our supply chain success, requiring diligence in handling products and maintaining inventory accuracy. Safety is a core value, and all Order Pickers must adhere to strict safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe Lifting practices. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
• Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
• Verify product information and quantities against order details.
• Package picked items securely for shipment.
• Stage orders for loading onto trucks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts).
• Perform inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of basic logistics principles.
• Reliability and punctuality.
