Order Picker

Job Summary:
Our distribution center in Minneapolis, Minnesota is looking for a dedicated Order Picker. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled for shipment. As an Order Picker, you will utilize RF scanners and operate order-picking equipment to retrieve items from warehouse shelves. Your accuracy and speed directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our supply chain. A strong focus on safety and adherence to all warehouse procedures is essential.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using a voice-directed or RF scanning system.
• Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelving.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially order pickers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
