Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE .
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse inventory and logistics .
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring constant movement.
