You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing procedures to minimize discrepancies. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and identify reorder points.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory placement.
- Train and guide other warehouse staff on inventory best practices.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct usage of PPE.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Capability to perform moderate Lifting of inventory items as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and logistics.
- Ability to perform required Lifting duties.
- Knowledge of Safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
