Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Order Picker to join our vibrant logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly while adhering to strict safety standards. You will be a critical link in our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their products promptly and correctly. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from designated locations within the warehouse based on pick lists or electronic devices.
• Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
• Stage picked items for the packing department.
• Operate order picking equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain productivity targets while upholding quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks on picked items.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A commitment to workplace safety is essential.
