Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Operate order picking equipment such as pallet jacks or RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient picking.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned, such as receiving or stocking.
- Meet established productivity targets for order picking.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of up to 35-45 lbs.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear mandatory PPE.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
