Inventory Clerk

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is essential for efficient logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting audits, and reconciling discrepancies. A strong emphasis on safety and compliance is required, including the proper use of PPE . The ideal candidate is methodical, organized, and possesses strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Record inventory data accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate stock placement.
• Generate inventory reports as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Must be able to perform tasks that may involve moderate lifting , up to 30 pounds.
• Properly use all provided PPE .
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role is preferred.
• Proficiency with WMS software and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and occasional lifting .
• Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE .
