Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be the frontline for managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility. Your responsibilities will include unloading delivery trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, stocking received goods, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will work closely with carriers and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely processing of all shipments. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are essential. This role requires physical stamina, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods. Adherence to all company Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive inbound freight from various carriers.
- Verify contents of shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies upon receipt.
- Accurately document all received and shipped items in the inventory system.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing shipments.
- Load outbound trucks efficiently and securely.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in receiving and shipping areas.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Support overall Logistics operations and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and scanning equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and best practices.
- Must be able to wear and utilize all required PPE .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of Logistics principles is beneficial.
