Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as pallet jacks or electric pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- Participate in all scheduled safety training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good spatial awareness.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
