Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are hiring an Order Picker in Houston, Texas, to join our bustling logistics facility. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
• Use of picking equipment such as scanners and pallet jacks.
• Verify picked items against order lists for accuracy.
• Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use of PPE.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including stocking and quality checks.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Familiarity with scanning technology and order picking processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
• Excellent stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
