Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order sheets
- Verify item codes and quantities before packing
- Select appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit
- Pack items securely and neatly for shipment
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures
- Utilize required PPE consistently
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks
- Contribute positively to team efforts and goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is preferred
- Capability for frequent lifting of up to 45 pounds
- Strong observational skills and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a high-volume setting
- Must be able to stand, bend, and move for the duration of the shift
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adherence to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE
