Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Stock received items accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with carriers for outgoing shipments.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with basic computer systems.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
