Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using order pick lists or scanner technology.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order requirements.
- Stage picked items at designated packing or shipping stations.
- Operate pallet jacks or other lifting devices as needed to retrieve items.
- Maintain awareness of your surroundings and adhere to all Safety procedures.
- Keep your work area clean and organized, ensuring easy access to products.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or out-of-stock items to a supervisor.
- Wear all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics process.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, such as replenishing stock.
- Requires consistent physical activity, including walking, bending, and Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
