Order Picker

Job Summary:
Our dynamic logistics company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your main duty will be to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets. This requires excellent attention to detail to guarantee the correct products and quantities are picked. You will utilize scanning devices and follow established procedures to accurately record inventory movement. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is expected. The role involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products based on order details.
• Verify item quantities and codes to ensure accuracy.
• Use RF scanners to manage inventory and track picked items.
• Prepare orders for packing and shipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the picking area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear the necessary PPE.
• Report any stock issues or damages to management.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role.
• Ability to interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with PPE guidelines.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
