Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Restock picked items from shelves as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues immediately.
- Participate in team efforts to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Perform tasks that involve frequent lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capability for lifting up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
- Good organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and order fulfillment processes.
