We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy facility in Salt Lake City, Utah! If you're a motivated individual looking to contribute to a dynamic logistics team, this role is for you. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from our warehouse and preparing them for shipment. This involves using RF scanners, verifying product details, and ensuring that orders are packaged correctly and efficiently. Attention to detail is critical to minimize errors and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This position is physically active, requiring you to be on your feet, walk, and perform moderate Lifting throughout your shift. Our company places a strong emphasis on Safety; we provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to strict Safety standards, including proper Lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanning equipment.
- Inspect items for quality and correctness before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Verify order contents against dispatch information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned, involving some Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and a focus on accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow Safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
