Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an order picking system (e.g., RF scanner).
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damages encountered during the picking process.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts.
- This role involves significant standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and equipment is a plus.
- A strong work ethic and reliability.
