Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics center in Huntsville, Alabama, as an Order Picker. We are looking for diligent individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists, using scanning equipment, and preparing items for packing and shipment. You will be an integral part of ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering accurate orders promptly. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, and all employees must adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires standing, walking, and moderate Lifting of items up to 30 pounds. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items according to order tickets and product locations.
• Use RF scanners or other technology to track picks.
• Verify picked items for accuracy before moving to the next stage.
• Assist with packing and staging orders for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous order picking or warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret order pick sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capacity for standing, walking, and moderate Lifting.
• Familiarity with basic warehouse and logistics principles.
• Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
