Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and other required documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as necessary.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation as directed.
- This role demands regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse safety procedures.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
