In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on customer orders, utilizing scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack selected items securely and appropriately for shipment, using designated packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Stage completed orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse protocols.
- Strictly follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the order fulfillment and logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels clearly.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following Safety regulations.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
