Picker/Packer

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer order items from warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning technology.
• Inspect products for any defects or damages prior to packaging.
• Select appropriate packing materials and methods to ensure product **safety** during transit.
• Package orders neatly and efficiently, meeting quality standards.
• Apply shipping labels and any other necessary documentation to packages.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
• Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
• Meet or exceed productivity goals for picking and packing.
• Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counting, as needed.
• Support overall warehouse **logistics** by ensuring timely order completion.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or similar role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capability for frequent **lifting** of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must wear required **PPE**, including safety shoes and vests.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Understanding of basic **logistics** flow.
• A strong focus on workplace **safety** is essential.
