Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin distribution center is seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is integral to managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistics operations. You will be responsible for receiving inventory, verifying shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and coordinating with carriers.   • Receive, inspect, and document incoming inventory.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and documented.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Perform general warehouse duties and support logistics as needed.
  • This role requires regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Understanding of logistics principles and supply chain operations.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as a valuable team member.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills.
