Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect picked items for damage and ensure correct quantities are selected.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, maintaining product integrity.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks as needed, following all safety protocols.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and requirements, including wearing mandated PPE.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent order picking and reporting.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity targets.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions focused on logistics and safety best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Capability to handle significant lifting, up to 50 lbs, throughout the shift.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
