Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and advise on reorder points.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to reconcile stock.
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Train warehouse staff on proper inventory handling and tracking procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Understanding of inventory control best practices and logistics operations.
- Ability to perform manual inventory checks and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
