Job Summary:
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual seeking a role in a fast-paced environment? Our Chicago, Illinois facility is looking for a Picker/Packer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and expertly packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy are crucial to our logistics success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanners.
  • Verify picked items against order specifications for accuracy.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
  • Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, for moving items.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Perform quality checks on picked and packed items.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
  • Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets and support overall logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
  • Understanding of basic logistics concepts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
