Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse using an RF scanner or picking list, locating specified items, and ensuring the correct quantities are selected. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity while adhering to all safety protocols. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
• Use RF scanning equipment to track inventory and order progress.
• Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment.
• Stage picked orders for the shipping department.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Be able to perform tasks involving lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand picking lists and product labels.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Comfortable with lifting and moving products.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following all protocols.
